What hours is the office open?
The leasing office for MayfairVillage
is open Monday-Friday 10am to 6pm during the months of January to
September. October through December we are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday
3-6pm. We are open on the weekends by appointment only and can be
contacted at Williamsburg on the Wabash
during the office hours of Monday-Friday 9-6 Saturday 9-5 and Sunday
12-5. We also have an emergency maintenance program for emergencies where
we can be contacted 24 hours.

Village located?
Our community is located at 2450
Sycamore Lane, just minutes from PurdueUniversity
and local shopping.
What size apartments does Mayfair
Village offer?
We have several different floor plans, ranging from one to three
bedroom apartments. You have the freedom to choose a style that suits your
lifestyle best.
What do I need to hold an apartment
home for the upcoming school year?
There is a $35.00 application fee per
person and a one time administration fee per apartment of $100.00. There
is a refundable security deposit of $150.00.
Is the city bus free and how often does
it run?
The City bus is free to university
students, staff, and faculty. The bus will pick up every half hour at the
designated bus stops. Visit citibus.com for a bus schedule.
Can friends and visitors spend the
night? Is there a limit on visitation?
Overnight guest are welcomed as long as
roommates are in agreement. Guest resigning for more than seven nights,
need to register with the office.
Does the kitchen come with
dishes?
House wares are not provided but can be
rented at your own expense.
May I share my bedroom with someone
else? How many people or roommates can live in our apartment?
Sharing of bedrooms is permitted.
According to Indiana
occupancy standards the number of people who can live in an apartment is
maximum two per bedroom.
What if one of the roommates doesn’t
pay their share of the utility bill or rent?
All residents on the lease are jointly
responsible. Non-payment for rent from one resident will affect all
residents on the lease.
Are pets allowed?
We allow cats and dogs. We do
have a few breed restrictions for dogs, please check
with the leasing office for registration and questions. There is a one
time fee of $150.00/pet with a maximum allowance of 2 pets and a $20.000/month
pet fee.
Are these apartments only for college
students?
Our apartment community is designed and
tailored for student needs. However, anyone can reside at Mayfair
Village as long as the qualifications for residency
are met.
Are we allowed to hang things on the
walls?
You can hang things on the walls
providing you do not do any major damage to the wall or paint. Picture hangers
or hooks that make small holes in the wall that we can easily patch are
permitted.
Can we lock our separate
doors to our bedrooms so no one can go in while we are gone?
Bedrooms do not have their own private
locks and keys. If you wish to install your own, you will be required to
provide a key to the office for emergency purposes.
How can I make sure I get an apartment?
Act early. As soon as you submit
the required application and meet the qualifications you will be assigned an
apartment home. Prior to your assignment you will be asked to provide us
with your top three choices of apartment home styles incase your first choice
would become unavailable.
If one resident moves out does it
affect the other roommates’ situations?
Yes, each roommate signs a joint lease
for the entire apartment, so if one roommate leaves, the other is
affected. You are still responsible for the entire rent.
Rent is due on the first
of each month. How are late fees figured?
Rent must be paid by the 1st
of the month. Starting on the 2nd you will be charged $75 and $10
per day afterwards.
Can I get a phone/cable/internet line?
All apartments are wired for phone lines, however you will need to call the phone company to
have your phone line set up. This will be separate from your rent.
Cable can be set up with the local
cable provider at www.comcast.com. You will need to set this up
and this will be billed separate from your rent.
Internet options are with Verizon for DSL, Comcast, and Airimba
which is the wireless service at www.airimba.com. You will need to set up
these services on your own and this will be billed separately from your rent.
Will the electric and gas be on in the apartment when I arrive?
You will have electric
when you arrive but it is necessary for you to call prior to your arrival and
have the electric and gas switched into your name. Fees will apply along
with the bill for services for any days that the bill remains in our name
during your lease.
Where and how can I pay my rent?
Rent
may be paid at www.livemayfairvillage.com or placed in the
drop box@ the office. You can also sign up for automatic monthly
withdrawal.
